Thermal transfers are designs that are made up ahead of time and then applied to a garment using heat and pressure. Transfers are limited in some ways when compared to screen printing in that often transfers are limited to designs that someone else has created. We can also duplicate a photograph of yours and print it on a shirt. Transfers also have a reputation for not being as durable as screen printing, although the quality has improved with the latest generation of computerized equipment.
